LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!

Look What The Lord Has Done!

We are completing the first term of the year and God is awesome! I want you to join me as I look back and see what the Lord has done from January until the end of March 2014.

During the month of January we had two weeks of fasting. This was an amazing time. People were excited as they were challenged to do that which they were not used to...and they succeeded. Soon after this we heard testimonies, even  of someone being healed from cancer while being in a prayer meeting. We have seen a number of people come to repentance as it is the main focus in this church...to see that people come to salvation and be delivered from sin.
People are growing in the Word of God and are excited as they learn more and more. This brings about confidence and great faith as people are sharing their faith with those in their lives. The children are just so excited as young as one year old...yes it sounds like a lie but this is true...learning the Word of God. They have been taught how to pray and use the measure of faith God has given each one of us. Yes, the just shall live by faith...was the message coming through each week in the prayer meetings.

We know now that the words faith and believe are family but different. Let me explain by telling you the following story.
A man went from his village to learn how to be a trapeze artist (someone who walks on ropes in the air). When he came back he told the villagers to all come and see how he will walk on a rope from one hill to the top of another hill. The people did not BELIEVE him and wanted to see it. When they saw him doing it they were shocked and BELIEVED...they were amazed. He then told them that he will do the same trick, walking on the rope, but this time with a 250 kilogram wheelbarrow. Again they did not BELIEVE him then he showed them that he could do it and they BELIEVED. They clapped and shouted and praised the man. They told him that they BELIEVED. He than said to them that if they BELIEVE then one of them must have FAITH and climb into the wheelbarrow as he will push the wheelbarrow across the rope to the other hill... Everyone was quiet...then one by one they left. Though they BELIEVED IT COULD BE DONE THEY HAD NO FAITH TO DO IT THEMSELVES. We learned that FAITH is putting into action that what you BELIEVE.

During the month of February, clothes we given to anyone who had a need. they could come to church and pick for as many people they would like...as many clothes as they could carry.

During the month of March needy families were given food parcels.

People were filled with great gratitude receiving these food parcels...with no strings attached. They were not even invited to come to church...it was just to make a difference in other peoples lives. That is what we are all about. God is doing great things in the lives of both the givers and the receivers.

I trust that as you joined me to look back...you were blessed to see what the Lord has done in this ministry. God has done great things...He is doing great things and we are excited about even greater things He has in store for each one of us. Be part of that which God had prepared for you...in advance...no eye has seen and no ear has heard what God has in mind for you.

The Vision Written by the Visionary- Pastor Fabian Steyn

What kind of church do I see and where are we eventually going to as

1. I see that we will have a fully fitted mother and baby room and a day-care
center here at church.
2. The Children's Sunday School Ministry will have professional Sunday school teachers equipped with modern teaching aids and materials to ensure that your children receive effective and dynamic teaching in the Word of God.
3. Our ladies will be going on camps to encourage, empower, and to inspire each other, to function in our
Woman's and Singles Ministry as ministers.
4. Men will be empowered to man up and be men though our dynamic Men‟s Ministry.
5. Our vibrant Youth Ministry will have far reaching impact in our communities by effecting change in our schools.
6. We will train leaders for the five fold ministry to serve in the Bible School and go on local, national and international mission trips.
7. Enjoy fresh coffee as you read through your favorite author's latest release while relaxing in our new coffee shop.
8. Our Life-Houses will start very soon running in several communities. The aim of our Life-Houses is to spread the love of God, while sharing in His Word as we go about inspiring, mentoring and creating positive change in people's lives.
9. Young school leavers will have the chance to gain access to Computer Training and Skills Development, various community projects will focus on job creation, providing clothing, feeding the needy, restoration of homes, dealing with drug addicts, giving bursaries to matriculated youngsters, etc.
10. We are going to have powerful worship services with full LVC band and all types of musical
instruments. Worship LVC already performs songs written by members of the group and will be releasing album upon album.
11. We will host worship seminars, thus teaching other churches. Having church growth seminars
and campaigns where others will come and learn from us.
12. The Life Vision Church Klipspruit West Campus will be a beautiful facility with every thing we need to do Gods work effectively. We are a work in progress. The Life Vision Church Klipspruit West Campus will house offices and conference rooms, classrooms, cinema seats inside the auditorium, air conditioners and better restroom facilities. Our parking areas will have gardens and clean seating areas for rest and relaxation.

Our greater vision is to plant more churches like this in other communities.  We know that nothing is impossible with God. He gives the vision and we make it our mission to make the vision seen...become real.
