LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!

Look What The Lord Has Done!

We are completing the first term of the year and God is awesome! I want you to join me as I look back and see what the Lord has done from January until the end of March 2014.

During the month of January we had two weeks of fasting. This was an amazing time. People were excited as they were challenged to do that which they were not used to...and they succeeded. Soon after this we heard testimonies, even  of someone being healed from cancer while being in a prayer meeting. We have seen a number of people come to repentance as it is the main focus in this church...to see that people come to salvation and be delivered from sin.
People are growing in the Word of God and are excited as they learn more and more. This brings about confidence and great faith as people are sharing their faith with those in their lives. The children are just so excited as young as one year old...yes it sounds like a lie but this is true...learning the Word of God. They have been taught how to pray and use the measure of faith God has given each one of us. Yes, the just shall live by faith...was the message coming through each week in the prayer meetings.

We know now that the words faith and believe are family but different. Let me explain by telling you the following story.
A man went from his village to learn how to be a trapeze artist (someone who walks on ropes in the air). When he came back he told the villagers to all come and see how he will walk on a rope from one hill to the top of another hill. The people did not BELIEVE him and wanted to see it. When they saw him doing it they were shocked and BELIEVED...they were amazed. He then told them that he will do the same trick, walking on the rope, but this time with a 250 kilogram wheelbarrow. Again they did not BELIEVE him then he showed them that he could do it and they BELIEVED. They clapped and shouted and praised the man. They told him that they BELIEVED. He than said to them that if they BELIEVE then one of them must have FAITH and climb into the wheelbarrow as he will push the wheelbarrow across the rope to the other hill... Everyone was quiet...then one by one they left. Though they BELIEVED IT COULD BE DONE THEY HAD NO FAITH TO DO IT THEMSELVES. We learned that FAITH is putting into action that what you BELIEVE.

During the month of February, clothes we given to anyone who had a need. they could come to church and pick for as many people they would like...as many clothes as they could carry.

During the month of March needy families were given food parcels.

People were filled with great gratitude receiving these food parcels...with no strings attached. They were not even invited to come to church...it was just to make a difference in other peoples lives. That is what we are all about. God is doing great things in the lives of both the givers and the receivers.

I trust that as you joined me to look back...you were blessed to see what the Lord has done in this ministry. God has done great things...He is doing great things and we are excited about even greater things He has in store for each one of us. Be part of that which God had prepared for you...in advance...no eye has seen and no ear has heard what God has in mind for you.

10. We are going to have powerful worship services with full LVC band and all types of musical
instruments. Worship LVC already performs songs written by members of the group and will be releasing album upon album.
11. We will host worship seminars, thus teaching other churches. Having church growth seminars
and campaigns where others will come and learn from us.
12. The Life Vision Church Klipspruit West Campus will be a beautiful facility with every thing we need to do Gods work effectively. We are a work in progress. The Life Vision Church Klipspruit West Campus will house offices and conference rooms, classrooms, cinema seats inside the auditorium, air conditioners and better restroom facilities. Our parking areas will have gardens and clean seating areas for rest and relaxation.

Our greater vision is to plant more churches like this in other communities.  We know that nothing is impossible with God. He gives the vision and we make it our mission to make the vision seen...become real.

Grace upon Grace...Blessing upon Blessing!

The month of November 2013 was celebrated looking at Grace...

We have seen the tangible grace of God when our Pastor broke his ankle. He was on a hike with his family when he jumped and fell. He heard something snap in his lower leg...and immediately prayed that it is not his leg. It was not his leg but his ankle...by God's grace.

We have heard throughout the month that grace is something, we receive, which we do not deserve. Many times it is more then we can ever imagine. The grace of God allowed Jesus Christ to die for our sins and rose again on the third day so that we can have everlasting life when we receive this. It is by grace that we are saved and that not out of ourselves it is the gift of God...so that no one can boast.
When something happens to you like your ankle that is broken and you cannot fix it yourself, you come to the realization that I have to depend on the person who knows how to deal with broken ankles...doctors. You cannot remove your sin nor can you deliver yourself. You have to come to a point and trust the one True God who specializes in healing and renewing the lives of people. Only He can remove your sin...by His grace.

Pastor shared his story on Sunday and he mentioned that he had to go for an operation while we were in service. This made me think...we cannot service the King of King if we have not allowed Him to operate our hearts...removing the sin and transforming the way we think and aligning our lives with the plan He had already prepared for us. A plan to prosper and not to harm us. A plan to give you and me a hope for the future... while He operates...we need to serve. So why do you still try to fix your ankle yourself (your heart of sin and brokenness)? Give it all to Jesus, He came to give His life so that you can live...live by grace.

He is the only one who know exactly what to do, when and how to do (operate) in your life when you allow him. Come to him by His grace today, allow Him to show what needs to be cut, joint and plastered...so that you can live a life that is more abundantly.

The Impact Conference Truly Impacted Our Lives!

Here are some of the quotes, lessons and inspirations that transpired from the different speakers. I trust that you will be blessed and greatly encouraged just by reading it.

Pastor Vince Blennies

You are the arrow in God's hands...he is putting you in His bow...positioning you to great things so that you can make an impact wherever you are. Whatever you have is a direct promotion to your faith, without faith it is impossible to please God. We have to develop faith. Faith that has not been tested...cannot be trusted. god does not respond to pain, but to faith. So faith must be trained. We need to have faith in God. When we impact others it is all about God and the Kingdom of God.
  1. Increase
  2. Everything gets better and better
  3. The Gospel has great power- power of the Kingdom and it's force will be made known
  4. There is order and structure in the Kingdom of God
  5. The anointing of the Kingdom of God is a gift...use it
  6. Urgency to share the Gospel
  7. Success in the Kingdom is generational dominion
  8. Strength in the Kingdom of God is unity and agreement
  9. Access to the Kingdom of God is to understand Mysteries
  10. It is all about God.
Allow God to accomplish His will in your life and prepare for great things to happen in and around you.

To impact others you become a leader and these are some of the qualities that must be evident:
  1. Leaders must sacrifice
  2. Leaders must serve
  3. Be simple yet effective, simplicity, clarity and purpose
  4. Deal with complexities
  5. Deal with solutions
  6. Have high levels of sound judgment
  7. Do things in the Spirit of God be led by His Spirit
  8. Achieve balance
  9. Be significant even in your absence
  10. Real well
  11. Do a few things...do it well and with excellence
  12. Be flexible
  13. Seek bigger challenges
  14. Never be jealous
  15. Travel
  16. Educate yourself
  17. Serve the church
  18. Avoid debt
  19. Look for mentors and choose one
  20. Learn how to deal with crises in your life
Manage your life and live well. Live not just for now...for time but for eternity...generations to come.

Pastor Nicky Van Der Westhuizen

It is about to rain fish to those who believe. Fish speaks about harvest.

The greater the resistance the greater the revival. The greater the test the greater the testimony. Brand new people is coming forth because of brand new miracles that will be taking place. Nothing is impossible with God for those who believe. To make an impact in the community there needs to be partnership...partnerships of power. When you hear God speaks to you then you need to move, in order to receive your miracle. Joseph needed three people to partner with him, to get him where he was destined to be.
  1. Butler- You need someone who will open doors for you
  2. Baker- You need people who know how to put things in order, put all the ingredients together
  3. Faro You need someone who will finance your dream
Do not look at your draught, your resistance...it is about to rain fish...

Pastor Fabian Steyn

Impact is to strike something with something else. It is to influence and make an effect. It is force that is exerted.  The breakthrough is not without a fight. You must decide to make a high or deep impact. Be willing to take a chance verses a risk. An effective person always ask 'Why?'.
Discovering yourself is the third important day of your life, after being born ad being born again. Before you impact others you must impact yourself. Don't get stuck in your thinking, there is always another level.

  1. Expand yourself in every way
  2. Grow beyond your past barrier
  3. Constantly better yourself
  4. Your attitude (the spirit that you are carrying) determines your impact
  5. Attitude makes the difference in the lives of others
  6. Pray till a fire spread-Revival
  7. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life
To make an impact you need to be a high impact individual. Discover who you are what gifts you have received and make a change in history.

Pastor Wayne

Tools to make an impact.
  1. Do not forsake principals
  2. Principal of order
  3. Principal of respect
  4. Principal of honor
  5. Principal faithfulness, loyalty, hard work.
Violated principals will be rewarded. Don't let the devil impact your house. Allow the Lord to stir your heart because nothing happens when your heart is not stirred. Sometimes you must have tenacity and fight for what you believe. Titles are not getting the work done...only love and compassion will do that as you go out and bring people into the Kingdom of God.

Ezra 6
  1. Let them be given young bulls- young strength is coming
  2. Rams- speaks of consecration and separation- the must be a difference in your life
  3. Lambs were given to them (the weakest animal)- we need to be more humble and there will be less strife...be obedient
  4. Wheat-speaks of transformation-Grain must fall and die...you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind
  5. Salt-it is a preservative, flavoring, disinfects, bringing healing...do not be contaminated and do not lose your flavor. Jewish babies are rubbed in salt, this means loyalty. We need to rub others with salt to show and prove our loyalty to them.
  6. Wine(Joy and Oil(Healing and Anointing)-product of blessing. They both go through the process of pressing. The greater the difficulties the greater the anointing. Living a life filled with the joy of the Lord which is your strength
When Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane He was hard pressed so much so that His sweat was like drops of blood.

I trust that after reading all this bits taken from the conference that you have been blessed, inspired and encouraged to Make an Impact!

You are born to give 100% of your self to what ever you do.

When you listen, give 100%. When you work give 100%. When you play, play 100%.  Pastor Fabian Steyn, recently preached about..."Why give 99 percent?"

Romans 12:1 and 2
"So I beg you, brothers and sisters, because of the great mercy God has shown us, offer your lives as a living sacrifice to Him- an offering that is only for God and pleasing to Him. Considering what He has done,  it is only right that you should worship Him in this way. Don't change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to Him and what is perfect." (Easy to Read Version-ERV)

Looking at these scriptures and a few others like James 2:22-25, we were reminded how we sometimes give only 99 percent and many times less because we are not doers of the Word. We are only hearers of the Word and therefore we do not see the results we are looking for in our own lives. We are not willing to give our lives to God completely. We are not giving 100% thinking perhaps even subconsciously, that what we are giving is enough. Sometime we even compare ourselves with others...making sure we are doing or giving more then them. What we may not know is that though they may be giving less...that is their 100%.

Many times we drop our standards...we compromise and our 100% becomes 99%! We allow Satan to erode us from within and we become Rootless and Fruitless slowly but surely. May bad things can happen when we do not take stock of our lives to give 100% and become content with 99%. Here are some statistics which were found by Pastor Steyn while he was preparing his sermon. These are from two different webpages.

In America this is what would happen if they settle for 99%
-The IRS would lose 2 million documents this year.
-22,000 checks will be deducted from the wrong bank account in the next hour.
-Telecommunications companies will misdirect 1,314 telephone calls every minute.
-2,488 books will be shipped with the wrong covers on them each day.
-More than 5.5 million cases of soft drinks in the next year will be flat.
-12 babies will be given to the wrong parents each day.
-Footwear companies would ship out 114,500 mismatched pairs of shoes each year.
-The US Postal Service would miss-handle 18,322 pieces of mail every hour.
-Two planes landing at Chicago O’Hare would be unsafe every day.
-315 entries in Webster’s Dictionary would be misspelled.
-Doctors would write 20,000 incorrect drug prescriptions this year.
-880,000 credit cards in circulation would have incorrect cardholder information on their magnetic -strips.
-291 pacemaker operations would be performed incorrectly.
-3,056 copies of tomorrow’s Wall Street Journal will be missing one of its four sections.

As you can see 99% seems good...but 100% is what is needed. You give your best in many areas of your life...Why not give God your very BEST. Give Him the PERFECT sacrifice. It is not impossible! Be PERFECT because God is perfect...He will not expect something from you which He knows you cannot do. He knows that you can give 100%. So give just that 100%.

CELEBRATION AND IMPACT MONTH - OCTOBER 2013

Celebration and Impact Month! October 2013!

What are we celebrating? We are celebrating New Life In Christ Jesus! Who are we impacting? We are impacting those who need Jesus Christ in their lives, who is the only One who can save and deliver someone from a life of sin.

We do this by consistent intercessory prayer on a weekly basis. Weekly we gather for the School of Evangelism. This is a wonderful platform for Christians to learn how to effectively share their testimony and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These training sessions bring about the freedom and confidence many lack when it comes to the Gospel.

It is strange...we can talk about anything with anyone without feeling awkward or embarrassed, but when we speak about God the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit, there is an uneasiness. I think it is because of the fact that when this is our conversation...change is about to take place. Destinies are about to be altered...and that can be scary.

This month you are encouraged to break out of that fear...the fear of sharing the Good News. This gives one great reason to celebrate...as sharing the Gospel Impacts lives. Please pray with us as we are trusting God for a great harvest from the seeds that are sown. May you too be encouraged to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with someone today...everyday.

To end the month we are having an IMPACT CONFERENCE! Starting on the 31st of October 2013 at 7pm until the 3rd of November 2013 at 7pm.
